Adopt a Bird of Prey
In addition to eagles, the American Eagle Foundation is home to many non-releasable birds of prey, including Kestrals, Owls, Vultures, Corvids, Hawks, and Falcons.
If you choose to adopt a bird of prey, your donation will be used to conduct our birds of prey care and public environmental education programs.
All birds of prey are cared for by the non-profit American Eagle Foundation (AEF) for educational and propagation purposes, and are not permitted to be physically cared for or housed by the adoptor.
You will receive a special Bird of Prey Adoption Certificate and a color photo of and biography about your adopted bird of prey.
In addition, we will acknowledge your generous donation with a special "thank-you" letter that can be used as a receipt for your tax-deduction purposes.
Non-releasable birds of prey that can be adopted are listed below. By clicking on a name, you will go to that bird's special page which has a Bird of Prey Donate Button at the bottom.
